The History of Bauhaus The Bauhaus brand was created in 2019 by POINTtech to celebrate the integration of their long-time production partner in Ruhla into the company. During this year, the Bauhaus building, where the watches are produced, and the watch museum also became part of POINTtec. Proud of their label, Bauhaus watches draw inspiration from the German design and fine arts movement of the same name. Solidifying its name within the industry, Bauhaus won the German Design Award Special 2021 for two categories: Excellent Product Design and Luxury Goods.
