Created in 1944 by Hans Hilfiker, the clock quickly became a standout feature of all railway stations and eventually became a Swiss national icon. In 1986, Mondaine, founded by Erwin Bernheim, created its first timepiece with an official license from the Federal Swiss Railways. • The watch is finished with a black nylon textile strap with a natural cork lining. The strap fastens with a pin buckle.
