Duckworth Prestex’s origin story spans back to almost a century. The Duckworth family business, Prestons, was founded back in 1869 in Bolton. The firm began making pocket watches in the 1920s, which were branded under the name of ‘Prestex’. Despite its success, the Presetx brand was discontinued in the 1960s to prioritise other ventures through Prestons. After 20 years of mourning, Neil Duckworth decided to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps and revive the Prestex brand. Using experience from his long career in watchmaking, Duckworth launched ‘Duckworth Prestex’ to pay homage to both his family and the former beloved Prestex brand. Reimagining the original designs, Duckworth Prestex seeks to create versatile and high-quality pieces for an affordable price.

The Belmont collection is Duckworth Prestex’s take on a diver’s watch. With their fumé dials and high levels of water resistance, Belmont watches retain the brand’s retro flair whilst boasting better-than-every functionality.

Core Features of the Ducksworth Presetx Belmont Collection:

For optimal readability, the hands and indices of each model are filled with BGW9 lume.
The dial of each model is protected by a double-domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective underside coating.
Every Belmont model has a water resistance of more than 200m.

Measuring 42mm, the stainless steel case frames a green fumé dial with wave pattern.
The dial exhibits luminescent Arabic numerals and brushed steel hands. For a pop of colour, the sweep second hand is orange.
Framing the dial is a green bezel.
The screw-down crown, screw-in case back and the bracelet’s folding clasp are all stamped with the Ducksworth Prestex logo.
Securing the watch to the wrist is a 3-link stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp and quick release.
The watch is water-resistant up to 300 metres (30 bar).
Movement type - Automatic with a power reserve of up to 38 hours.
