The Conquest was first launched in 1954 and was the first model by Longines to be given a name. The Conquest quickly became associated with precision and accuracy in sports timing. In its Conquest Classic collection, Longines explores a different more elegant side of the model. Produced as a tribute to chronographs from 1878, the Conquest Classic line is fitted with a precise automatic movement. Though sporty, the models from the collection hold a sophisticated undertone, characteristic of Longines.
