Elliot Brown was founded in 2013 by two men who have decades upon decades of watchmaking experience between them. Ian Elliot founded the fashion brand "Animal" in 1988, building the brand from one product - an unbreakable watch strap - to a wide range of clothing and accessories. Co-founder Alex Brown turned down a job at Cartier to stay in the UK and help establish Animal's watch department, a role he stayed in for 17 years. Lasts for Years Not Fashion Seasons Elliot Brown watches are created to last for years, not fashion seasons. Many of the pieces in the collection feature 2.8mm thick toughened crystal glass covered in anti-reflective coating. The dial is cut from solid brass and finished with Super Luminova which ensures that you can see your watch in all conditions. The movement which powers Elliot Brown watches is Swiss Made and offers a 5-year battery life. The straps and bracelets are incredibly strong - no surprise as Ian Elliot was the man behind the unbreakable watch strap!
