Founded in 1856 by Giuseppe Allemano, the Italian watch company Allemano began as a precision instrument manufacturer. Originally renowned for producing pressure gauges, and dynamometers for automotive, aviation and marine industries, Allemano transitioned into the horological world in 2019. Their timepieces draw inspiration from vintage dashboard instruments and offer a harmonious blend of Italian craftsmanship with Swiss precision movements. The 1973 Collection represents another piece of Allemano’s history. The collection pays homage to the Crab and Shark depth gauges which, thanks to their technical innovation, dictated the law in underwater mechanics in the 1970s and 1980s. The new line, created in 2022, consists of a modern re-edition of the historic Crab and the new Shark underwater timepieces.

This model exhibits a black dial with a magnified date aperture at 4 o’clock.
The dial also features a mix of cream baton indices and Arabic numerals alongside cream SuperLuminova hour and minute hands and a red second hand.
A 316L stainless steel case, with a satin finish, frames the dial. The case measures 42mm in diameter.
A black unidirectional bezel also frames the dial.
A stainless steel bracelet, with a stain finish, secures the watch to the wrist. It fastens with a fold-over clasp.
